Fine grain textured acid-free off-white paper. Its only textured on one side, so you can use graphite/ pencils on the smooth side which has considerably less tooth. Its bound in such a way that the spine is not glued to the cover. The fine grain side of the paper is wonderful for ink sketching. Fountain pens with liquid ink will produce sharper edges. Works well with mild ink washes too, and single layer of watercolors.
Suitable for pencil, charcoal,ink, pastel, crayon, watercolor. Multi-purpose paper for experimenting and perfecting technique
